Hotel Kimpton De Witt
Here is a cool hotel for a weekend away or staycation: Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam.
Kimpton de Witt has the ideal location: few steps away from central station but also from new Church and Dam Square. Perfect if you want to be in the heart of it all!
As you can see, it is a nicely designed hotel in a building with a rich history: part of the hotel is from the XVIIe century and the restaurant, Wyers Bar & Restaurant, found inside the hotel, is on the exact spot where J.P. Wyers ran his textile industry back in the 50’s.
What I like about the hotel is the different atmospheres: the relaxed industrial restaurant, the dark atmospheric (great) cocktail bar « House Bar » and the light and airy lobby with its indoor garden, my favourite place!

On adore Kimpton De Witt, déjà, pour son emplacement idéal : à quelques pas de la gare mais aussi de New Church et de la place du Dam. Parfait si vous souhaitez séjourner au cœur d’Amsterdam.C’est un hôtel au très joli design et dans un bâtiment riche en histoire : une partie de l’hôtel est un bâtiment datant du XVIIe siècle et le restaurant de l’hôtel, Wyers Bar & Restaurant était l’ancienne fabrique de textile de J.P. Wyers dans les années 50.
Ce que je préfère dans cet hôtel, ce sont les différentes ambiances : le restaurant au design industriel, le (superbe) bar a cocktail “House Bar” et lobby avec son petit jardin d’intérieur, mon endroit préféré !
