This week, I was lucky enough to be invited to The Conservatorium Hotel. A place that combines modern Dutch design and history at its best!
I was impressed by the beautiful lobby and sky-high ceiling as I walked in, and that’s just the entrance…
Built in 1897, The Conservatorium Hotel used to be a bank and the former conservatory of music until 2008.
Located in the heart of the city, right on Museumplein, it’s a perfect location to start exploring Amsterdam !
The Conservatorium Hotel attracts guests from all over the world as well as locals who come for the brasserie, Taiko restaurant and Akasha spa, of which I highly recommend!.
It’s a luxury hotel where guests have everything they need at their fingertips for the best stay in Amsterdam.
The building was designed by the Dutch architect Daniel Knuttel and the interior by Piero Lissoni. The hotel includes 129 luxury guest rooms, meeting spaces, well-being spa and a range of great restaurants and bars.
Now back in the spa. I had a wonderful, relaxing break in the Akasha Spa and the swimming pool of the Conservatorium Hotel, such a good idea!
As a local in Amsterdam you can enjoy the spa with a day pass. Or book one of the beauty treatments!
The Conservatorium Hotel, what a place!
Cette semaine, j’ai eu la chance d’être invitée au Conservatorium Hotel pour le visiter.
J’ai été très impressionnée par cette belle entrée, sous un atrium vitré de vingt mètres de haut.
Érigé en 1897 au cœur du quartier des musées, ce majestueux bâtiment de brique blonde occupe ce qui était autrefois une banque puis un conservatoire de musique qui a été déplacé en 2008.
Depuis 2011, on y trouve, entre autres, un bar lounge, des magasins, Akasha spa (que je recommande !) et Taiko, un restaurant d’inspiration asiatique.
Le bâtiment est l’œuvre de l’architecte Daniel Knuttel et tout l’intérieur a été repensé par le designer italien Piero Lissoni.
Le Conservatorium Hotel est un point de chute parfait pour les amoureux du design.
L’hôtel de 129 chambres propose de nombreux endroits sous verrières ou fermés de mur en verre afin de maximiser l’entrée de la lumière naturelle.
J’ai pu profiter d’un soin au spa Akasha puis de la piscine. Un vrai moment de bonheur et de détente !
Au Conservatorium Hotel, on s’y sent bien, parfait pour se relaxer dans le calme et la sérénité!
